Blog Day 17-Poetry

Good Morning!  As I sit here in the early AM at Starbucks, I am getting some inspiration for my poetry blog today.  As usual, I'm linking up with my girl, BTL.  

Here are my brainstorming notes:

Embrace the atmosphere

Listen to the sounds

Look at the people

Smell the brew

Touch the table

Starbucks in the AM

chitter chatty baristas

shhhhhhhhooooo goes the brewing

click and clank keys in a hurry

Stir, wipe, cover it, and go

Where Do We Go From Here?

Where is the love I ask

Where is the time you ask

I have embraced a different life now

and you haven't even begun to ask for it back

Time is the enemy

How long will it take until I am with you

Keep on hoping

But I may

I may...

Try and smile while I'm away

I hope you get it one of these days

Just grow

Then I will come back and lay

Happiness is finding yourself

Have you found that yet?

I keep hearing you say 

Find it, find it, you don't need help
