Blog Challenge Day 1

Hello and Happy July!  Today marks the two year anniversary of Big Time Literacy!  I am beginning my blog challenge and linking up with Michelle everyday!  Wooohoooo!

Today's Blog is to introduce yourself, but I feel as though you may know me.  You can learn about me on my "About" tab if you want to know more.  As of right now though, I am still in Michigan at my lake house and have a special visitor with me, one of my best friends, Rocky and her two kids, Layla and Jonathon!

We had a cloudy day yesterday, but still made time at the beach.  Today seems to be starting off a little cooler than expected, but it won't stop us!  My plans for the 4th of July is to stay up here and party on the beach, go for boat rides, and enjoy more family time!

This blog is to help me stay reflective within my personal and work life.  I like to share ideas, resources, and stories.  I hope to use my blog to stay positive each day and find happiness.  I am working on making ME happy.  Since it is still Summer, you can try and enjoy what I am up to, but once I start working I will share more with what I plan on doing inside the classroom.

I am also going to link up with Farley and share what I am currently up to!

What are you up to?

  1. Sounds like you are having a great time at the lake. I'm sure the water is a little chilly up there in Michigan. I am in Texas and it is really hot here so, I am a little jealous of the cool weather. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer!

  2. Happy 2 year blogiversary!! That is so awesome!! Enjoy your lake house. We are asking ourselves when it's going to be 80 degrees again too. It's been almost 100 degrees every day here in FL. :-)

  5. I *loved* spending summers on the lake in Michigan. In Michigan, everyone seems to know which lake is "the lake" even though there are about 11,000 lakes in MI. Enjoy your summer!
